Product Introduction
Carbonated PET is a type of virgin PET chip for food contact bottles, specially developed for injection molding and blow molding of carbonated beverage preforms. It is obtained by polymerizing PTA and ethylene glycol to form semi-transparent milky white particles. The core requirements are: resistance to CO₂ gas penetration and internal pressure resistance.

Product Details

Core Features

  1. Low acetaldehyde AA, low odor: Does not affect beverage flavor, meets food contact requirements

  2. Excellent CO ₂ barrier performance + internal pressure resistance: Long-term storage of carbonated pressure in the bottle is not easy to relieve pressure and deflate the bottle, which is the most core indicator of carbonated material

  3. Stable intrinsic viscosity IV: 0.82 ± 0.015 dL/g, higher viscosity brings better mechanical strength, the blow molding window is wide, and the bottle wall is stretched evenly

  4. High transparency, low haze, the bottle body is transparent and beautiful; the content of different-colored particles and powders is low, reducing production downtime, and the yield is high

  5. Food Contact Compliance, meet FDA, domestic food contact standards, and have direct access to carbonated beverages

  6. Anti-creep, anti-drop, resistant to filling, warehousing, long-distance transport pressure; resistant to carbonic acid system weak acid

  7. Original new material, recyclable

Processing tips: It must be fully dried before molding, with a moisture content of ≤ 0.005%, to prevent high temperature hydrolysis and viscosity reduction;Cold filling only, cannot be used for hot filling above 85°C

Major applications

  • Carbonated beverage bottles (330ml/500ml/1L/1.5L), such as cola, soda, sparkling water, etc.

  • Carbonated Beverage Preform Injection + Blow Molding

  • Other cold-filled gas-containing beverage packaging that requires resistance to internal pressure and air retention requirements
